OATMEAL DATES (COOKIES)

I enjoy having these as a post-workout snack or whenever I am craving something sweet. I recall I would take these cookies into work to share with my coworkers and they were always gone within seconds! Have I mentioned, you can also make your own granola using this recipe. ☻
I must confess… these cookies are my guilty pleasure…

INGREDIENTS: (servings: 10 cookies)
(I’m going to be honest, I usually just eyeball the measurements depending on how much of each ingredient I want in my cookies), I will provide an approximate of each ingredient but you can experiment and play around with the measurements.
DATES
OATS (rolled or quick)
ALMOND BUTTER
MAPLE SYRUP
CHIA SEEDS
CINNAMON
Feel free to experiment with all of the ingredients by adding any other toppings.
In a food processor or with a knife, chop pitted dates into tiny pieces
Mix all ingredients together
Shape into cookies or roll into golf-sized balls
Cool for 15 minutes before eating
*you can use any leftovers and toast it for a few minutes over low-heat to make some delicious homemade granola*
